12 OZ Homemade Natural Kaffir Lime Shampoo Wash
The Thai traditionally use Kaffir / Makrut limes as a shampoo and it's benefits have even been studied.
I make it for myself - but since I have extra I thought I would make it available here as well.
INGREDIENTS - KAFFIR LIMES, WATER, BUTTERFLY PEA FLOWER
Often times we get stuck in cycles of shampooing with products that contain variations of sodium lauryl sulfate which is what creates the suds and completely strips the hair of all healthy oils which then leaves the scalp dry and flaky and then to recover it begins mass producing oils which makes your hair greasy and flaky. We also use conditioner to attempt to rehydrate - but it's all basically a trap to keep us in the cycle of buying hair products.
I decided to try and break free, and my hair loves it.
I do still use a regular shampoo or conditioner every couple weeks or so, but my hair has been super healthy and shiny since I started using this.
Every hair type is different - what works for me may not work for you. Use in a small test area FIRST to be sure you don't have an allergic reaction.
